Softball Fix

This past weekend we went on a getaway to Las Vegas. You see we are in a bit of softball withdrawal. This is the first year in a long time that Meranda has not been playing softball. So when we saw a huge tournament being played with some of the top teams in the nation, we thought - why not go!?!?!?!?

It was exciting to see UCLA, Tennessee, Hawaii, Stanford, Oregon, etc.
Parker saw Ivy Renfroe (the ace pitcher for Tennessee) warm up right in front of us.
The Hawaii pitcher sat in front of us on the grass.
We saw the "Icons" from UCLA.

Of course, Meranda was there, with Utah State. She didn't know we were coming. We talked to her off and on driving down the road. When we did get where they were playing, we just watched the game that was being played and Meranda as she helped the USU team warm up. At some point in time, Parker texted her "You sure look nice in your warmups". No response. Finally she caught sight of us in the stands!

Yes we are crazy and it was so good to see her with a softball team - even if she wasn't playing!

Making Memories is Hard work - and sometimes crazy

Saturday, Meranda invited Parker and Willie to come up to a USU Basketball game. So - we headed to Brigham City Saturday afternoon at 2:30 - met Meranda at Maddox - ate lunch/dinner - sent the three on their way up Sardine Canyon - headed back to Salt Lake - stopped at Sams and Smiths - watched the 2nd half of the USU game on TV - headed back up to Brigham City - met MK, Parker and Willie at the Flying J - and turned around and got home about 11:45.......

Why would we do this????? Because! Hopefully it's something that they won't soon forget! After all they did get to do the "I Believe" cheer, see Wild Bill dressed up as Barney and listen to the students sing "I love you, you love me", sing the Scottsman song and end the game with "Winning Team - Losing Team" and pick up a free USU backpack!

Yes "I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE CRAZY"!!!!!
